Refund Policy Overview
At Digital Nomads Kenya, we strive to provide exceptional value to our community. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for memberships, events, and other services.
1. Membership Refunds
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New members can request a full refund within 7 days of their initial subscription if they are not satisfied with our services. This applies to first-time subscribers only.
Pro-Rated Refunds
Annual memberships may be eligible for pro-rated refunds if cancelled within the first 30 days, minus a processing fee of KES 2,500.
Monthly memberships are non-refundable after the 7-day guarantee period.
Non-Refundable Items
- •Membership renewals (after 7 days of renewal date)
- •Upgraded memberships (difference in price)
- •Services already rendered or consumed
2. Event Ticket Refunds
Cancellation 14+ days before event
Cancellation 7-13 days before event
Cancellation less than 7 days before event
Event Cancellation by DNK
If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or credit towards a future event of equal or greater value. You will be notified via email within 24 hours of cancellation.
3. Training & Workshop Refunds
Before Course Start: Full refund available up to 7 days before the course begins, minus a KES 1,000 administrative fee.
After Course Start: No refunds once the course has begun. However, you may transfer your enrollment to a future cohort within 6 months.
Course Materials: Digital course materials and recordings are non-refundable once accessed.
4. Workspace Booking Refunds
Day Passes
Refundable up to 24 hours before the booking date. No refunds for same-day cancellations.
Monthly Bookings
Pro-rated refunds available if cancelled within the first 7 days of the month. No refunds after the 7th day.
How to Request a Refund
Submit Request
Email refunds@digitalnomadskenya.com with your order number and reason for refund.
Review Process
Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and respond via email.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.
Refund Payment Methods
M-Pesa Payments: Refunds are sent back to the M-Pesa number used for payment within 24-48 hours of approval.
Card Payments: Refunds are credited to the original card within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
Bank Transfers: Refunds via bank transfer may take 3-5 business days to reflect in your account.
Special Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you have extenuating circumstances (medical emergency, visa denial, etc.), please contact us directly. We review these cases individually and may offer exceptions to our standard policy.
Documentation may be required for special circumstance refund requests.
